Recognize common signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges.Respond using the Mental Health First Aid Action Plan (ALGEE).Connect individuals with appropriate professional and community resources.Address stigma and understand that recovery is possible.Practice self-care strategies for themselves and others. Open to community members, faculty, staff and Nebraska Medicine Colleagues

Advance registration is required, and pace is limited. Lunch will be provided. Participants who successfully complete the training will receive an Adult Mental Health First Aid certification.
