  • Hollywood's Depiction of Race: How It Influenced Systemic Racism

Join the Assistant Dean for Diversity and Inclusion from the CAHP on February 2nd at 4 pm for their first ever campus-wide Diversity and Inclusion Seminar: "What You Didn't Learn in History Class."

The first session will offer us insight regarding Hollywood's Depiction of Race courtesy of the Department of Black Studies from our very own, University of Nebraska – Omaha’s Department of Black Studies. The presentation will be given by Cynthia Robinson, PhD, Chair of Black Studies at UNO.

The sessions will elevate conversation surrounding situitions that have influenced systemic racism in the United States.

Students, staff and faculty are all welcome to attend!
