Dr. Gordon-Simet serves as the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at Blue Cross Blue Shield Nebraska (BCBSNE), where she leads the company's clinical initiatives. Before joining BCBSNE, Dr. Gordon-Simet was the Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Medical Affairs at Think Whole Person Healthcare, an integrated health clinic in Omaha. Prior to this, she served as a Medical Director and practicing physician at CHI Health in Omaha, where she focused on improving primary care delivery, health metrics, and patient satisfaction. Dr. Gordon-Simet is deeply passionate about patient education, childhood health initiatives, and mental health well-being. She earned her medical degree from Temple University’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine and is board-certified in family medicine. In addition to her clinical training, she holds an Executive MBA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a master's degree in strategic finance from Bellevue University. Dr. Gordon-Simet completed her family medicine residency at Clarkson Family Medicine, part of Nebraska Medicine.Objectives:
