There and Back Again: 100 Year History of Blood Resuscitation

Objectives:

1.Review the history of blood resuscitation from WWI - Vietnam.

2. Describe the importance of resuming blood focused resuscitation of trauma patients, explaining the deleterious effects of crystalloid newey resuscitation.

3. Discuss future endeavors/goals with early blood product resuscitation & whole blood resuscitation.
