The UNMC Office of Community Engagement (OCE) invites you and your student organization to participate in UNMC's first-ever Shark Tank student organization competition!!
Got a FIN-TASTIC idea for how your student organization could use $500 in funding?! Well then, c'mon down as we are on the HUNT for student organizations to dream up their best pitches for funding. Each student organization will receive five minutes and two PowerPoint slides to introduce and market their organizations to the audience and pitch their ideas for how they will use $500 in funding.The SHARKS will select the organization they wish to invest, and the OCE will provide the winning organization $500 in funding!! We will also have some JAW-SOME individual prizes up for grabs! You do not need to be a current member of a student organization to attend this entertaining event! This event aims to assist student organizations with recruitment so please spread the word far and wide!
At this virtual event, the OCE will also be awarding its annual community engagement award to very deserving faculty/staff and students!
