Dr. Crump is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hospital Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of the West Indies, completed her Internal Medicine residency at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut, and recently obtained her MPH fro UNMC. She is committed to bridging hospital and community care, advancing health equity, and advocating for insurance reform.
Shanda is a nurse leader with over 25 years of experience at Nebraska Medicine where she has served in various roles that have contributed to her growth as a nurse leader. In her current role as Director of Community Impact, People Development, and Culture, she aims to create an environment where all employees and patients feel a sense of dignity and respect.
Dr. Davis earned her medical degree from Emory, completed Internal Medicine residency at UCSF, and her ID fellowship at the Massachusettes General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital's combined Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program and HIV Clinician Educator Track. Dr. Davis's interests include HIV prevention and treatment, LGBTQIA+ health, medcial education, and health equity.
Reverend Portia Cavitt is a dynamic leader and community advocate who serves as pastor of Clair Memorial United Methodist Church in North Omaha.. She is the first female president of the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance and leads Great Plains Black History Museum and the North Omaha Community Care Council. Her decades of service have earned her numerous honors, reflecting her unwavering committment to uplifting the Omaha community.
