About this Event
Scrapbooking is a craft that combines photographs, memorabilia, journaling and decorative elements to preserve memories and stories. Its history can be traced back to ancient times, but the modern scrapbooking we recognize today began to take shape in the early 1980s. This presentation will cover a variety of topics to provide an understanding of scrapbooking basics, techniques, and creative ideas for starting your own projects.
About our presenter: Jennifer Harmon works in the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center – Nebraska Medical Center, however, as a long-time scrapbooker, Jennifer has developed an eye for detail, composition and storytelling. These skills continue to serve her well as she evolves and expands as a nature photographer, building her own business – Nana Shoots Nature.
