  winning smile\, friendliness\, professionalism and collegiality\, Powell h
 as been on campus since 1976. He moved from housekeeping into Facilities Ma
 nagement and Planning\, where he served as a full-time refrigeration tech. 
 He attended Metro Community College for his associate degree in refrigerati
 on. He is known about UNMC as “The Mayor.”
