According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, heart disease is the leading cause of death for women in the US and can affect women at any age. The Olson Center will again co-host a series, “Let’s Talk About Heart Health in Women” with Nebraska Medicine Cardiovascular Services to bring attention this health issue. Each session will be provided virtually. This is the first event of our series.

Pulmonary Hypertension is high blood pressure in the lungs. The symptoms, such as fatigue and shortness of breath, can be severe. Treatment of this disease depends on the type of Pulmonary Hypertension present. This talk will discuss the causes, symptoms and treatment of Pulmonary Hypertension.
