PALS is a nationally recognized program designed by the American Heart Association to aid pediatric health care providers develop the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently and effectively manage critically ill infants and children.

The PALS Provider is a two-day course designed for the health care provider who either:

• has never attended a PALS Provider class;
• is not comfortable with the PALS content and skills; and/or
• has an expired PALS card.
