Nebraska Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) Conference

Individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) contribute to a heterogeneous group of individuals and many of these individuals will require Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to maximize interpersonal relationships, educational outcomes, employment opportunities and leisure pursuits.

The Department of Speech-Language Pathology at the Munroe-Meyer Institute offers this full-day conference annually in the summer, which focuses on a topic related to AAC supports that help children and adults achieve independent communication.
