  will host the 2026 Unsung Hero Awards Luncheon on Friday\, March 13\, fro
 m 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Truhlsen Event Center.\n\n \n\nThe Unsung He
 ro Awards recognize individuals whose dedication\, service and commitment 
 often occur behind the scenes but make a meaningful impact.\n\n \n\nAwards
  are presented across several categories recognizing staff\, faculty and s
 tudents whose dedication to service\, mentorship\, leadership and communit
 y engagement strengthens both campus and community.\n\n \n\nThis year\, th
 e awards will be celebrated as a standalone luncheon\, offering a dedicate
 d opportunity to recognize those who embody the spirit of service through 
 volunteerism\, mentorship\, outreach\, encouragement and leadership in the
 ir workplace or community.\n\nThe program will feature keynote speaker Jud
 ith Hill\, Executive Director of the North Omaha Collective. Hill leads a 
 community-based nonprofit focused on advancing healing-centered engagement
  through training\, outreach and collaborative partnerships. Her work supp
 orts culturally responsive practices that strengthen relationships among y
 outh\, families\, institutions and community organizations while fostering
  resilience and long-term well-being.\n\n \n\nThe luncheon is open to facu
 lty\, staff\, students and community members.\n\n \n\nLunch will be provid
 ed for the first 75 registered in-person attendees and those interested in
