Registration is now open for the 2022 Maverick Run on Saturday, April 23, 9 a.m. at Baxter Arena. UNMC Faculty and Staff can register for a discounted rate of $15.

In addition to the10K and 5K Runs, 5K Walk and Kids' Race, there will be activities and booth vendors located inside Baxter Arena.

There is a virtual 5K run/walk for those that don't feel comfortable being in person (you still get a discount with the code above).                      

The Maverick Run organizers promise to follow social distancing best practices to ensure everyone involved is as safe as possible. We will work closely with our local health department to follow all directed health measures at the time of the event.

Facial masks may be required at time of race by all parties, except participants once they leave the starting line, they may remove their mask.  Upon crossing the finish line, the participates will be given approximately 100’ “recovery zone” and may be required to put on their facial covering/mask.
