Presenting..."Bioengineering Strategies for Tissue Protection and Regeneration" by Bin Duan, PhD and "Augmenting Cellular Therapy in Aggressive Lymphoma" by Christopher D'Angelo, MD

Dr. Duan is a distinguished biomedical engineer with a PhD from the University of Hong Kong, earned in 2010. Since 2015, he has been a vital part of the Mary and Dick Holland Regenerative Medicine Program at UNMC. Dr. Duan’s lab focuses on the development of advanced biomaterials, tissue engineering strategies, and biofabrication techniques to promote tissue regeneration and repair.  

Dr. D'Angelo is a dedicated hematologist and oncologist with a distinguished career in clinical research and education. He earned his MD from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed his Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin in 2019. Since 2020, Dr. D'Angelo has served as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Oncology & Hematology at UNMC.
