Rubrics used as assessment tools and outcomes to track mastery are simple to use within Canvas. Using and creating rubrics allow for versatility, help communicate expectations to students, and can make grading and giving feedback easier and faster.

Session Details:

• This professional development session will be an hour in length: the first 20-30 minutes will consist of direct instruction/discussion from Academic Technologies; the remaining time will allow time for faculty to work directly with Academic Technologies 
• This session will be recorded via Zoom and linked to the IMPACT Echo360 course.
   

This session is part of the IMPACT Pedagogy Learning Track: This professional development learning track focuses on understanding educational best practices and skills in order to be a successful educator. Courses will include the systems behind teaching, as well as the technology available to simplify instruction.
