IMPACT PD - Best Practices and Advanced Skills for Using Zoom

Session Description:

This session will help you gain an understanding of Zoom software for remote learning and meeting use. The focus will be on learning how to control the conversation utilizing basic tools and offering insight into utilizing breakout rooms and other features such as polling and non-verbal feedback.

This session is offered on two dates: February 17, 2021, from 12:00-1:00, and February 24, 2021, from 12:00-1:00. You only need to attend one session.

Session Details:

  • This professional development session will be an hour in length: the first 20-30 minutes will consist of direct instruction/discussion from Academic Technologies; the remaining time will allow time for faculty to work directly with Academic Technologies 
  • This session will be recorded via Zoom and linked to the IMPACT Echo360 course.
     

This session is part of the IMPACT Technology Learning Track: This professional development learning track focuses on building upon technology skills to advance your teaching and learning. Courses will include intermediate and advanced skillsets in relation to previously mastered academic technologies.
