DESCRIPTION:The Impact in Education Awards are the highest education-relate
 d awards conferred by UNMC. The awards recognize the dedication and ingenui
 ty of our educators. Award categories include emerging educator\, innovatio
 n\, leadership\, mentorship\, service\, interprofessional education\, resea
 rch and sustained achievement. \n\n \n\nRecipients receive award funds for 
 professional development\, recognition at the annual award ceremony and the
 ir name displayed on a plaque in the Academic Affairs office. The awards ar
 e sponsored by the Office of Academic Affairs\, and the selection process a
 nd ceremony are facilitated by the Interprofessional Academy of Educators.\
