We are thrilled to invite you to the upcoming Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center Internal Grand Rounds presentation by Imayavaramban Lakshmanan, PhD, Assistant Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at UNMC. Dr. Lakshmanan's research focuses on identifying the molecular mechanisms of MUC5AC and MUC16 mucins in promoting lung cancer metastasis and investigating how these heavily glycosylated proteins drive cancer cell proliferation and metastatic processes.
