The Eppley Seminar Series speaker for March 5th will be Dr. Celeste Simon, University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine.

She will be presenting "Exploiting Metabolism to Cure Kidney Cancer".

Key points:

  • While renal cancer is genetically diverse (outside of consistent VHL loss of function), certain metabolic pathways are universally employed to advance disease progression.
  • I will discuss a novel surface protein that we have identified that we think will control primary tumor growth, slow metastatic spread, and augment immunotherapy.

We hope to see you there!

Location: Ground floor conference room BCC 0.12.101
