Following the educational conference, learners should be able to:
1. Discuss the theories of peripheral nervous system involvement by SARS-CoV2
2. Discuss the genetic homology between COVID-19 and other Beta-corona viruses that has been related to GBS
3. Discuss the published cases, and emphasize the importance of the diagnostic confirmation for these cases
4. Discuss the important epidemiological studies that showed no association between GBS and COVID
5. Discuss the most recent epidemiologic studies that showed an increased incidence of GBS in COVID patients
6. Discuss the importance of considering GBS as a complication of COVID-19 in improving the patients outcomes
