According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, heart disease is the leading cause of death for women in the US and can affect women at any age. The Olson Center will again co-host a series, “Let’s Talk About Heart Health in Women” with Nebraska Medicine Cardiovascular Services to bring attention this health issue. Each session will be provided virtually. This is the third event of our series and is also part of the Olson Center Brown Bag lectures.
Coronary Artery Disease affects women and men, but is more prevalent in women as they get older. This talk will discuss the risk factors, symptoms and treatment of this disease.
