Children's Nebraska, Glow Auditorium and Solarium

The Child Health Research Institute invites researchers, at all levels, to showcase their current projects at the annual Pediatric Research Forum on May 9 and 10 at Children’s Nebraska. The forum provides an opportunity for investigators to share their current pediatric research projects via abstract submissions and a poster session. The event is especially aimed at giving research presentation opportunities to learners.

Abstracts of research connected to child health can be submitted until March 25 at midnight. Eligible submissions will be judged by a review panel, and winners in each category will be invited to present their research at the award ceremony.

Forum events will start in the Glow Auditorium at Children’s Nebraska at 4:30 p.m. on May 9 with welcoming comments by Ann Anderson Berry, MD, PhD, CHRI executive director. CHRI member Ram Kumar Subramanyan, MD, PhD, FACS, chief, Division of Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery, will deliver the keynote speech. A reception and poster exhibit in Children’s solarium will conclude the evening.

The second day of the forum will begin at 8 a.m. in the Glow Auditorium. A successful researcher among the Department of Pediatrics classes of residents will present their work to in-person attendees and the Children’s weekly grand rounds audience. After, the department will announce their annual teaching and academic awards.
