In this session, Jasmine Marcelin, MD will take participants on a short journey of the evolution of Black hairstyles and the complicated relationship to “professionalism” in the workplace, exploring natural hair discrimination and the impact of legislation to reduce this discrimination for Black people at work. We will also hear hair stories from invited panelists in various healthcare professions.
