The Summer Undergraduate Research Program will hold its annual poster symposium from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on August 8 at UNMC's Truhlsen Events Center. The med center community is invited to meet the SURP students and view their poster presentations. 

This event is the culmination of a 10-week, full-time research program for over 114 high school and undergraduate students coming from all over the United States to participate in the program.  SURP is a collaboration between UNMC departments, institutes, colleges and gradaute speciality areas and is designed to allow high school and undergraduate students to become members of research teams and discover firsthand the broad spectrum of research activities occuring at UNMC.
