Presented by Uwe Schroer of LaVision Biotech. The Advanced Microscopy Core Facility will host an online demonstration of light sheet microscopy in support of a shared instrument grant proposal. The primary advantage of this technology is for the fluorescence imaging of tissues and organs, often done after a process know as optical clearing. This technique may be especially useful for those working on specific mouse organs, including (but not limited to) liver, pancreas, kidney, heart, lungs, brain, and perhaps ovaries. Questions should be addressed to the Advance Microscopy Core Director, Steve Caplan, email or 402.559.7559
