“The Body and Mind of Cancer” during the Fort Omaha Intertribal Pow Wow

The students’ artwork will be a part of the “Expanding the Circle” exhibition in the Metropolitan Community College Fort Omaha Campus, Building 21 (The Mule Barn) open during the Fort Omaha Intertribal Pow Wow. Celebrating Native American cultures, the powwow honors the traditional dance, music, artistry, oral history and foods of various tribes across Nebraska and the surrounding region including, but not limited to, Ponca, Omaha, Santee Sioux and Winnebago.
