Retirement tea for Rob Baum

The campus is invited to a retirement tea for Rob Baum, who has worked at UNMC/Nebraska Medicine for 25 years. The tea will be held Monday, May 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Private Dining Room C on the third floor of University Tower.

Light refreshments will be served. Jennifer Larsen, M.D., vice chancellor for research, and Cyrus Desouza, M.B.B.S., professor, internal medicine, and section chief of DEM, will deliver brief remarks around 11:30 a.m.

Monday, May 21 at 11:30am to 1:00pm

Rob, I do not on a regular basis check my e-mails from UNMC but did this past weekend and saw that you are retiring and having a tea as well. Congratulations to you. Enjoy your retirement ( I know you will), best wishes to you for your future and thanks for all of your work over the years with me and the others in the OBGYN Dept and MFM group taking care of all of those pregnant diabetics.
I guess it's an end of an era.
I will always remember our encounters as two silver haired grandfatherly HCPs taking care of some of our patients, as best I can figure that won't happen on Thursday aternoons for a long time!
If you ever make it up to Chicago look me up.
