About this Event
Durham Research Center 1, S 45th St, Omaha, NE
The Vice Chancellor for Research Office hosts town hall meetings periodically to address key research topics and respond to questions from UNMC's research community.
This month, Dr. Howard Fox will join us to discuss his role as one of four representatives of Academic Medical Centers/Hospitals on the Indirect Costs Subject Matter Experts (SME) Team, as part of the national joint association effort to develop a new indirect costs funding model with the Federal government (first announced in April 2025).
Several other individuals will be on hand to provide updates and answer questions on a variety of topics important to UNMC researchers, including:
○ Ken Bayles, Vice Chancellor for Research;
○ Tess Kuenstling, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Research Resources;
○ David Doty, Director of Sponsored Programs Administration; and
○ Jeff Kratz, Director of Government Relations
