This month, we spotlight “team science” and the role it played in successfully advancing clinical trials with CAR T-cell therapy.
-
Team science combines the expertise of professionals from different fields to collaboratively tackle scientific challenges, leveraging their unique skills and knowledge to drive innovation and progress.
-
Recently, UNMC and NM teams achieved a breakthrough by delivering the first allogenic therapy for a patient with multiple sclerosis, building on last year's success with a trial involving a lupus patient.
-
Representing these teams on the panel are:
-
Matt Lunning, DO; hematologist/oncologist, medical director of the CRC, and assistant vice chancellor of clinical research
-
Jennifer Medlin, MD; rheumatologist, director of the lupus clinic
-
Rana Zabad, MD; neurologist, director of the MS clinic
-
Other timely research topics will be covered near the end of the event, along with the usual Q&A opportunity for researchers.
Q&A Session: Researchers are encouraged to submit questions in advance to allow research leaders to prepare informed responses.
Submit your questions by email to research@unmc.edu
