Population-level Monitoring of Infant/Toddler Development: The World Health Organization’s Global Scale for Early Development

Children grow and mature at different rates, which can be influenced by environmental factors, especially in younger children. Attend the next Olson Center Brown Bag, where Dr. Abbie Raikes will outline these factors and describe population-level data in documenting inequities in early child development using the Global Scale for Early Development. A new study in Nebraska designed to validate this scale will also be introduced.

Please pre-register by emailing Lana Molczyk at ljmolczy@unmc.edu, calling the Olson Center at 402.559.6345, or on Engage. Viewing directions will be given to registrants prior to the brown bag presentation.

This lecture is free, however if you would like to obtain nursing credit, the cost is $10. Payment instructions will be given when you pre-register. Nursing credit can only be obtained for watching the live stream of the virtual presentation, not for viewing the recording after the event.
