The What, Why and How of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders

Objectives:                           

1.             Describe the range of outcomes resulting from fetal exposure to alcohol, known as fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASDs)

 2.             List the prevalence of alcohol use in pregnancy and FASDs

  3.             Implement universal screening and brief intervention (SBI) for risky alcohol use, including any alcohol use in pregnancy
