Changes to the regulations in the protection of human subjects, 45 CFR 46, (also known as the Common Rule) will go into effect on January 19, 2018. These changes will have an impact of those investigators and research teams involved in the conduct of research involving human subjects after that date. While some changes may be considered more burdensome, many of the recent changes remove regulatory burden for investigators, research teams and IRBs alike.
Join us for the Fall 2017 IRB Education Series as Dr. Bruce Gordon, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Regulatory Affairs and Executive Chair of the UNMC IRBs explains the revisions to the Common Rule and how it will impact the way human subject research is conducted on the UNMC, Nebraska Medicine, Children's Hospital & Medical Center and UNO campuses.
Lunch will be provided.
