IMPACT PD - Making Better PowerPoint Presentations

Session Description:

Microsoft PowerPoint is one of the most utilized technology tools in the classroom environment, yet most do not realize the basic design principals required for successful presentations. Learn simple modifications and best practices to take your presentations to the next level.

This session is also offered on October 14 from 12:00-1:00 and November 5 from 2:30-3:30. You only need to attend one session.

Session Details:

  • This professional development session will be an hour in length: the first 30 minutes will consist of direct instruction from Academic Technologies; the final 30 minutes will allow time for faculty to work directly with Academic Technologies 
  • This session will be recorded via Zoom and linked to the IMPACT Canvas course.
  • This session will have accompanying materials within the IMPACT Canvas course.

 

This session is part of the IMPACT Academic Learning Track: This professional development learning track focuses on using technology to grow as both a learner and an instructor. Courses will establish new uses for previously mastered technology, as well as an introduction to new academic technology tools for learning.

The IMPACT Professional Development Program offers the UNMC community opportunities to expand upon technical skills in support of our institutional learning. While education is currently experiencing unprecedented challenges, Academic Technologies offers both the experience necessary and the skills required, to navigate these unpredictable and complicated times.
