Following the educational conference, learners should be able to understand the nature of clinical and translational research (CTR) in relation to the neurological sciences. Learners should also be able to better understand how investigators can become more competitive for research awards and, ultimately, better understand the development of neurological disease and the means for its treatment and prevention.
The lecture will provide details on the primary objective of developing a robust, networked research infrastructure to nurture, develop, and guide our CTR investigators, and build collaborations among them and with community members across Nebraska, the northern Great Plains, and the nation.
