Cognitive and Emotional Effects of Domestic Violence in Nebraska: A Pilot Study

Following the educational conference, learners should be able to understand the kinds of violence survivors in Nebraska experience, understand the frequency of injury experienced by survivors, and understand the cognitive and emotional consequences of violence. Learners will also be introduced to a brief method (one of many), to screen for brain injury. Lastly, learners should understand the narrative of survivors in Nebraska.
