Brown Bag Lunch and Learn Lecture Series

Join us virtually as we look into the health and wellbeing benefits of getting up, going outside, and getting moving.  Have you ever heard of ‘forest bathing’?  Discover destinations right here in town where you can explore and enjoy nature.  We’ll talk about dressing for success, or survival if you take your adventures into the backcountry, as well as hiking equipment to consider investing in.

We’ll also discuss safety concerns and how climate affects your experience.  Rain or shine, spring, summer, fall and winter are all great opportunities to go outside and get moving.

Please pre-register by emailing Candyce Dunlap at cdunlap@unmc.edu, calling the Olson Center at 402.559.6345, or on Engage: https://unmc.campuslabs.com/engage/event/7335945. ;

Viewing directions will be given to registrants prior to the brown bag presentation.

This lecture is free.  No nursing credit will be provided.
