Marie O’Malley, MD will present Bilateral Uterine Artery Embolization to Treat Uterine Fibroids on Tuesday, May 12 at noon through Zoom. This webinar is part of the Olson Center for Women’s Health and UNMC College of Nursing webinar series.  

  

Marie O’Malley, MD is an Assistant Professor for the UNMC Department of Radiology. 

 

This presentation will describe current treatment strategies for uterine fibroids to enhance interdisciplinary health care team knowledge. Dr. O’Malley will explain the role, indications and clinical effectiveness of minimally invasive treatment options for uterine fibroids in appropriate patient populations. This webinar will also apply evidence-based education and quality improvement strategies to improve patient access to uterine fibroid care across clinical settings.
