ACLS is a nationally recognized program designed by the American Heart Association for health care providers who are involved in the resuscitation of a patient, whether in or out of the hospital. Through this course, providers will enhance their skills in the management and treatment of an adult victim of cardiac arrest and any other cardiopulmonary emergencies.

The ACLS Provider is a two-day course designed for the health care provider who either:

• has never attended an ACLS Provider class;
• is not comfortable with the ACLS content and skills; and/or
• has an expired ACLS card.
